The Council is a not-for-profit agency serving central Nebraska since 1967. CNCAA is an affiliate of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence and a long time partner agency of the Heartland United Way, serving Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties.

      The Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Inc. is a non-profit corporation affiliated with the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. This organization, its programs, activities and services are supported in whole, or in part, with funds provided by the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Tobacco Free Nebraska Program, federal Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, Central District Health Department, Drug-Free Communities Grant, and the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant administered by the Office of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Addiction Services in the Department of Health and Human Services. Additional financial support is provided by Hall County, Heartland United Way, and tax-deductible donations.
